After Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara, Trisha is in talks for yet another Tollywood star hero film - Exclusive

Star hero Venkatesh was last seen in the action drama Saindhav, which was directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The film was a major flop at the box office and left the makers in losses. But Venkatesh won a lot of appreciation for his performance in the film.

He has now moved on to his next film, which will be a commercial entertainer. Star director Anil Ravipudi will helm this film and we at OTTplay have already reported the same. Now, we have an exclusive update about the film's female lead. As per the news, the makers of this film have approached Trisha to play the female lead.

Trisha to romance Venkatesh

A source close to the unit has revealed to us that talks are at an advanced stage and very soon, Trisha will sign the dotted line. Trisha has made a comeback to Telugu cinema after a long gap and will be playing the female lead in Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara, which is currently on floors.

Anil Ravipudi has penned a hilarious script for Venkatesh and the news is that Trisha also has a very fun role in this film. She is in top form, as she is doing big projects. Trisha will next be seen in Mani Ratnam's Thug Life and she has also started shooting for the same.

Trisha's new Telugu film details

In the past, Trisha has acted alongside Venkatesh in Aadavari Matalaku Arthalu Verulu, which was a big hit at the box office. Now, they are all set to team up again. The film also has Varun Tej in a lead role and the heroine for him is yet to be locked.

Dil Raju will produce this film on a massive scale. As Anil Ravipudi is returning to the comedy genre after Bhagavanth Kesari, there is a massive buzz for this film, and Trisha's entry will surely take things to the next level. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
