Disney+ Hotstar made the announcement after the actor's Padma Shri's win.

On Saturday, Disney+ Hotstar announced that Raveena Tandon would be starring in a new web series. The streaming service announced in a press release that in the forthcoming Hotstar Special, viewers will get to see Raveena as a brand new character.
Raveena, who was just awarded the Padma Shri, said that the show has allowed her to start over as an actor. The 48-year-old actor is thrilled to have joined the Disney+ Hotstar crew. Because she has always appreciated the opportunity to grow and change with each new role she has taken on, she knows that this show will hold a special place in my heart. Raveena, who first appeared on Netflix's OTT original series Aranyak, made the announcement in an official statement.
The official Instagram page of Disney+ Hotstar shared a photo of Raveena and wrote, "Congratulations to the Queen of Elegance, @officialraveenatandon, on getting honoured with the prestigious Padma Shri Award. Akhiyon se goli maarne aa rahi hai vo... Jald hi #DisneyPlusHotstar par. Stay tuned to find out what's cooking!"
Disney Star's Head of Content, Gaurav Banerjee, expressed his excitement at working with Raveena. Disney+ Hotstar and HSM Entertainment Network are part of the Disney Star family of channels. Banerjee said of Raveena Tandon that she is and has been a superstar throughout her journey in the Indian film industry, and soon, Disney+ Hotstar and the actor will bring some magic to the audience's screens.
Neither the show's title nor any of the other cast members have been announced by the streaming service as of yet. According to reports, the show is a reimagining of the American drama thriller Revenge. Two of her upcoming movies are Patna Shukla and Gudchadhi, both of which star Raveena and Sanjay Dutt.
The actor turned heads with her performance in Netflix's Aranyak and KGF: Part 2.
