Today morning, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan opted to travel via a bike instead of his luxury car. This video left social media users in splits. While some of them were worried about his health as the 80-year-old just recovered from a rib injury, others expressed their apprehension as the actor forgot to wear his helmet for safety.

And now, a similar video has swept in wherein popular Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma ditched her luxury car and opted to travel via a bike. She took the ride with her bodyguard Sonu as a tree fell in Juhu and blocked the road she was travelling in Mumbai.
In both incidents, netizens have expressed displeasure as the celebs chose not to wear a helmet. Both videos have gone one viral on social media. An Instagram user wrote, “Na madam ne helmet pehena hai na uske bodyguard ne.” Another user questioned, “Helmet kaun pehnega?”
One more user wrote, “Aaj sab bike se jayenge kya?? Bachchan Saab bhi aaj bike se nikle.” “So, helmets are not compulsory for the rich and famous, aren't it?” wrote one more user.
At the moment, no official comment on the development has come from either Sharma or Bachchan. This news sweeps in days before Sharma is expected to attend the Cannes Film Festival in France. At the event, she will honour women in cinema along with Oscar winner Kate Winslet. French Ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain, recently confirmed Anushka's attendance earlier this month.
Producer Guneet Monga, her husband Sunny Kapoor, actors Manushi Chhillar, Esha Gupta, Vijay Varma, and Urvashi Rautela are also expected to grace the event. Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shri Anurag Thakur will address the Inaugural Session through a video message to showcase India as a global hub for content creation at the 76th edition of the Cannes Festival. Notably, four Indian films have made it to the official selection at Cannes Film Festival.
On the work front, Sharma will next be seen in a biopic of cricketer Jhulan Goswami, named Chakda Xpress, which will be released on Netflix soon.
