After Agent, Akhil Akkineni to do a film with UV Creations, a debut director to helm the film

Akkineni Akhil is a very talented young actor and there is no denying the fact. But sadly, all his last few films did not click at the box office. So, he had pinned a lot of hopes on Agent which was directed by Surender Reddy. The action drama co-starring Mammootty and Sakshi Vaidya was released on the 28th of this month.

But sadly, the film bombed on the first day one itself and the makers will lose heavily on this film. In such a situation, Akhil is nowhere to be seen post the release. Now, we have come to know from our sources that Akhil has signed a film in the production of UV Creations which is Prabhas's home banner. A new director will be helming this film.

Well, Akhil had also shot for the poster and title of the film. He wanted to announce this project once Agent releases with a bang. But now as the film has flopped, the announcement has been called off. Some gossip mongers even say that the project itself has been called off but there is no news about it as of now.

Sometime back, we at OTTplay have reported that Akhil will be doing a film in the direction of Srikanth Odela who made Nani's Dasara. Well, there is also no news when this project will go on floors. Post Agent's debacle, Akhil has decided to take a breather and announce his new film when the time is right.
