The prestigious Nandi Awards are back: To be held on 12th August in Dubai

Nandi Awards are one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in Telugu cinema. But ever since the state of AP got divided with Telangana, the awards were put on the back burner for six years now. A few days back, news came out that the Telangana Film Chambers of Commerce will be conducting the award show on a grand note.

Well, as per the latest update, the TFCC Nandi Awards South India 2023 will be held on August 12th at the World Trade Center in Dubai. A press conference was organized today and the 13 jury members were announced. B. Gopal, Murali Mohan, Suman, Shivaji Raja, Relangi Narasimha Rao, Roja Ramani, Journalist Prabhu are the jury members.

TIEF CC Chairman Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud said " Films released in the year 2021 and 2022 can apply on the TFCC website on or before June 15th. On the other hand, Minister Srinivas Goud signed the letter related to Nandi Awards from Telangana Government who will also sponsor the event. The award categories include Best Feature Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best villain, Best Director, Best D.O.P, Best Music Director, Best Choreographer, Best Writer.

Also, Special awards like NTR Memorial Award, ANR Memorial Award, Superstar Krishna Memorial Award, Rebel Star Krishnam Raju Memorial Award, Allu Ramalingaiah Memorial Award, Director Ratna Dasari Narayana Rao Memorial Award, Kantha Rao Memorial Award will be given out.
