Today, in anticipation of the trailer reveal for their forthcoming Amazon Original film Ae Watan Mere Watan, Prime Video and renowned filmmaker Karan Johar unveiled a striking teaser. Karan introduces the audience to Usha, a 22-year-old courageous girl who showed immense patriotism and bravery during the 1942 Quit India Movement. She used an underground radio to rally the nation against the British Raj, showcasing the untold stories of some of India's unsung heroes.
Her fearless tale inspires the filmmaker to think of PVC Captain Vikram Batra of Shershaah, who frightened the enemy and gave her life for his country in the Kargil War, and Sehmat Syed of Raazi, who married into the Pakistani army to spy on them.
