Aditya Roy Kapur has come a long way in his acting career, from his debut in London Dreams to Aashiqui 2, where his part made ladies weak in the knees, to Gumraah, when he attempted a double role for the first time.
Aditya, though, has had a difficult year. His movie, Rakshtra Kavach Om, failed to perform well at the box office. The actor got a significant physical makeover for the pure action movie. He spent a long time developing a strong body for the movie. Regrettably, the audience did not like the movie.
The actor responded that no one is aware of the success code when ANI asked him if Rashtra Kavach Om's failure had changed the way he selects screenplays. Indeed, he truly gave Om his heart and soul. The movie was a failure, but he learned a lot from it. Each endeavour teaches one something in its own unique way. In the film "Om," he performed action for the first time. Despite the film's poor performance, the actor hopes that all he accomplished and learned about the action genre from it will be useful to him in the future.
Aditya is now preparing for the launch of Vardan Ketkar's film, Gumraah, in which he will star. It is a remake of the 2019 Telugu movie Thadam (2019). Mrunal Thakur will play the role of the cop in addition to the actor's dual characters.
The movie's makers just released the trailer, which shows a murder case that often confuses both the movie's characters and the police.
Aditya spoke candidly about his character, saying that playing two roles at once was quite difficult. It was interesting to be a part of Gumraah since he too wanted to challenge and push himself. The movie is different, and he is hoping people will like it.
On April 7, Gumraah is expected to be seen in theatres.
