Adipurush: Watch Prabhas starrer in cinemas or wait for its OTT release?

Telugu superstar Prabhas' latest movie Adipurush was released last week in cinemas to polarising reactions. The movie has been marred by several controversies. The biggest one of them all is the way the movie has portrayed the iconic characters from the Indian epic Ramayana. The debate around the film's quality escalted to such an extent that its dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla had to go on television and claim that Adipurush was not the adaptation of Ramayana. 

"I told this earlier and now telling it yet again, we did not make Ramayan, we were just heavily inspired by Ramayan and made Adipurush," Manoj said while trying to control the situation which was seemingly going out of control. 

Many fans of Prabhas have lashed out at director Om Raut accusing him of underutilising the talents of their favourite star.

Thanks to the sheer stardom of Prabhas, Adipurush did spectacular business during its first weekend. The movie raked in more than Rs 300 crore from its worldwide ticket sales in its first three days.
