The first look of Prema in the role of Kasthuri was launched by the team commemorating Women's Day

Prema, who shot to fame in Telugu with films like Devi, Omkaram and Dharma Chakram, is returning to the industry again. The actress last seen in the Naga Babu, Ramya Krishna starrer Anjani Putrudu is making a comeback to Telugu cinema with an untitled film, where she's paired opposite veteran actor Rajendra Prasad. The first look of her character in the film, Kasthuri, was launched on Tuesday commemorating Women's Day.
The actress looks extremely fit and agile in her first look and it shows her efforts to maintain her physique with such consistently over many decades. A few weeks ago it was also revealed that Jaganmohini, Toorpu Padamara actor Narasimha Raju will also be playing a key role in the film. The yet-to-be titled film in which Rajendra Prasad plays the lead role is directed by Venkatesh Pediredla.
The unconventional casting in the project certainly grabs your attention and one wonders what's the story the makers are setting out to tell here. Paruchuri Brothers have come up with the story which has music by S Siva Dinavahi. Jagan Mohan D Y is bankrolling the project under Apple Creations. Mallikarjun Naragani is handling the cinematography for the project for which Ram Tumu is the stunt director.
Prema was also part of Uppi Matte Baa, the Kannada remake of Soggade Chinni Nayana, starring Upendra, where she reprised the role of Ramya Krishna in the original. The actress also made an appearance in comedian Ali's talk show Alitho Saradaga some time ago.
