Ram Charan is in the spotlight following the release of Rajamouli’s mega project, RRR, co-starring Jr. NTR. The actor is also celebrating his birthday today, and the makers of his upcoming project, Acharya, have released a new poster to commemorate the day.
The poster, which was shared by the makers through social media, features Ram Charan in a blue shirt, playing with a flute in his hand. He can be seen drawing on the instrument with a smile on his face.
“Team #Acharya wishes our Mega PowerStar @AlwaysRamCharan a very Happy Birthday. It is already a blockbuster year; I can't wait to make it bigger next month," wrote Konidela Pro Company and Matinee Entertainment, two of the makers of the movie, sharing the poster on Twitter.
Acharya, which is written and directed by Koratala Siva, will see Ram Charan share screen space with his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi. The movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal, Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Saurav Lokesh, Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, Ajay and Sangeetha Krish in supporting roles.
Ace music director Mani Sharma has composed the film’s music. The second single from the movie, titled Neelambari, was released by the makers in November last year and has clocked over 22 million views on YouTube.
The movie has had several release dates but was pushed back for multiple reasons. Acharya is now set to hit theatres around the country on April 29.
Ram Charan has already hit the big time this year following the release of RRR. The period epic has created multiple records at the box office, including the highest first-day collection.
