The banter between Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan is a trademark of their joint appearances. On the set of tonight's episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, nevertheless, things took a dramatic turn. Abhishek appeared on the quiz program alongside producer Shoojit Sircar and screenwriter Arjun Sen, whose experiences inspired the film I Want to Talk, as part of the film's marketing campaign.
This episode features Abhishek's account of Sircar's pitch to him for the film. According to the actor, the filmmaker withheld some information from him. The only thing he mentioned was Arjun's journey; that alone made a lasting impression on him.

After a life-altering medical diagnosis, the protagonist of I Want to Talk reaches out to his estranged daughter. As the film recounts Arjun's life story, the author reflects on his fight against cancer and how his daughter Raka inspired him to overcome it.
"What is dying?" was one of three questions his three-year-old daughter Raka asked him, along with "Is he dying?" She also asked, "Will he dance at her wedding?" Without thinking, Arjun assured her that he would be dancing at her wedding. On the show, the writer explained that his life's mission became being there for her after witnessing the joy in her eyes.
Abhishek went on to say that he opted to head the film mainly because of its deep examination of the father-daughter connection. The actor thought to himself that Aaradhya Rai Bachchan is his daughter, and Shoojit has two daughters. Because they are all fathers of daughters, they know exactly how one feels. Arjun's vow to his daughter deeply moved Abhishek, and words cannot express the depth of that father's unfaltering dedication.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 is available to stream on SonyLIV (OTTplay Premium).
