Abhishek Bachchan reacts to divorce rumours with Aishwarya Rai: Did the Ghoomer actor finally reveal the truth?

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s relationship, once a fairytale, has been making headlines for quite some time now. The couple tied the knot in 2007 with an extravagant Indian wedding, and their world expanded with the birth of Aaradhya Bachchan in 2011. But speculations and gossip about Abhishek and Aishwarya's divorce went viral several times. However, the Bachchan family has maintained a resolute silence.

A few months back, the rumours of their divorce began to spread once again. And it became more intense when Abhishek Bachchan was seen attending the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding festivities in July with the Bachchan family, and Aishwarya and their daughter Aaradhya were seen attending the wedding celebrations separately.

Although we did not get any official statement, the Ghoomer actor flaunted his wedding ring to Bollywood UK Media during an interview and declared that they are still married, according to Times of India. "I don't have anything to say to you all about that. You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. I understand why you do it. You have to file some stories. It's okay. We are celebrities, we have to take it,” Abhishek further added.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s pleasing lifestyle

The couple has maintained a relatively private life throughout their seventeen years of marriage. Even their social media interactions are primarily reserved for marking special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, offering glimpses of their affectionate family to the public eye.

The Dhoom actor recently was roped in for Shah Rukh Khan’s action thriller — King, which is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film also features Suhana Khan and is going to be her first collaboration with her father, SRK.

Reports also claim that Bachchan will also appear in Remo D'Souza’s upcoming film — Be Happy and is also involved in Shoojit Sircar’s next.
