Filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar recently announced his next film Jee Le Zaraa, which will bring three of the most popular and adored actresses of Bollywood together for a road trip. As we all know by now, these three beauties are none other than Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. Well, when you see ‘road trip’ and Farhan’s name together, there’s another film which comes to mind-- Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The wonderful camaraderie shared by Farhan, Abhay Deol and Hrithik Roshan in the film blew us away and left us wanting more!
Well, in a recent interview with Bollywood Life, Abhay was asked about the possibility or plans of a sequel to the masterpiece. To this the actor replied, “It is an intimidating task to make part two to something that is so beloved. You cannot go below as the bar is so high. Unless you have something that fulfills the level of love it's got there is no reason to do. As far as the rest of us are concerned, we all love and respect each other and we will be happy to work together, there is no question there.”
Abhay went on to reveal that he was not a part of Happy Bhaag Jayegi sequel because from his perspective he didn’t feel the film needed one. Further sharing his opinion on the whole ‘part 2’ concept, he stated that he doesn’t see a sequel to Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! either. He explained, “I am not someone who would do a sequel easily. I am not someone who would do a film easily, you need to convince me. I need to relate to it and if it happens to be a sequel, so be it. It is not that I am against it. It has to have all the ingredients that are attractive enough to make it.”
Well, we are sure if and when the sequel to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is planned, it will be too good to say no to!
