Ever since the leaked photos from Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming venture Aavesham, helmed by Romancham director Jithu Madhavan, began surfacing on the internet, the star’s fans speculated that this could be the much-awaited comeback for the actor – especially with regards to box office success. The latest teaser of the film promises just as much – with the team announcing that the film will “reintroduce” Fahadh in his avatar as Ranga the Rowdy through the entertainer.

The movie’s teaser, which was released through the social media pages of the team, starts off by a bunch of college students recounting the tale of rise of a rowdy – which is pitched as their saviour. While the ones narrating his tale – which is glorified with violence – haven’t quite seen him do any of the action, but it’s a feat that’s celebrated.

The teaser also offers a glimpse of the maniacal character that Fahadh will be playing, but this time more inclined towards that humorous side than the menacing. That’s what also makes the teaser a rewarding watch for the audience – especially in terms of what it promises to deliver. Is Ranga truly the gangster he is speculated to be? Or is he just a fake? Either way, Aavesham promises to keep the audience entertained.

The movie, which is produced by Fahadh, Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed, is set in Bengaluru and revolves around a bunch of college students who seek help from a thug to fend off the threat from the seniors. But little do they know that they have invited further trouble.

Aavesham to release in theatres on April 11

These include Fahadh’s Aavesham, which will hit theatres on April 11 along with Pranav Mohanlal and Nivin Pauly’s Varshangalkku Shesham that is eyeing an April 14 release.
