Fahadh Faasil and director Jithu Madhavan are set to reunite for the upcoming project, which stars ‘Amban’ Sajin Gopu in the lead role. Anaswara Rajan is set to play the female lead in the film.

Fahadh Faasil has been backing some highly impressive projects under his home banner Fahadh Faasil and Friends. Premalu and Aavesham, the recent Malayalam blockbusters, were produced by the actor and his wife, actress-producer Nazriya Nazim. Now, Fahadh and the Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan are set to turn producers for the upcoming project, which stars ‘Ambaan’ Sajin Gopu in the lead role. The untitled movie directed by Sreejith Babu, features Anaswara Rajan as the female lead.
Sajin Gopu played the role of Ambaan, the most-trusted ally of Fahadh Faasil’s character Ranga in Aavesham. The talented actor is finally set to make his debut in lead roles with the upcoming project directed by Sreejith Babu. The untitled movie started rolling today in Kochi, with an official pooja ceremony. Along with the cast and crew members including producers Fahadh Faasil and Jithu Madhavan, many popular celebs including Kunchacko Boban and filmmaker Anwar Rasheed were spotted at the event.
Anaswara Rajan, the popular young actress is set to play the female lead in the film. Roshan Shanawas, who played the role of Shanthan in the movie, is reportedly playing a pivotal role. Some unconfirmed reports also suggest that Kunchacko Boban is also a part of the project. The movie is scripted by co-producer Jithu Madhavan, himself. The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the star cast and technical crew of the much-awaited project.
In one of his recent interviews with a leading online media, leading man-producer Fahadh Faasil hinted that Aavesham might get a prequel, in the future. The National award-winning actor, who heaped praises on his co-star Sajin Gopu, stated that he is a fantastic actor to work with. Interestingly, FaFa also added that he is keen to start working on the Aavesham prequel, especially because he will get to share the screen with Sajin, yet again. However, the project might not go on floors anytime soon.
