Aavesham Box Office Collection – The Fahadh Faasil starrer, which is helmed by Jithu Madhavan, hit the big screens on April 11, 2024, as a Vishu special release. The action-comedy has highly impressed the mass audiences and is performing extremely well at the box office. When it completed its first weekend of release, Aavesham emerged as the Vishu winner, by establishing a clear lead over the other release. The Fahadh starrer has reportedly made over Rs. 42 crore so far, at the worldwide box office.

According to early estimates, Aavesham has minted around Rs. 42.5 crore at the worldwide box office, when it completed the fourth day of its release. The Jithu Madhavan directorial reportedly registered its biggest single day collection on Day 4, which was also its first Sunday at the theatres, as well as the Vishu day. Interestingly, Fahadh Faasil’s action comedy has collected over Rs. 4 crore from the Kerala box office alone, on its Day 4 at the theatres.
As per the reports, Aavesham has made a total worldwide collection of Rs. 9.5 crore on its first Sunday at the theatres. Thus, the movie has also registered its leading man Fahadh Faasil’s biggest solo box office collection, so far. For the uninitiated, the Jithu Madhavan directorial made Rs. 33 crore at the box office, by the end of its third day at the theatres. However, the movie performed extraordinarily on Day 4, after the PVR ban for Malayalam films came to an end.

Aavesham box office – What is in store for Fahadh Faasil’s film?
If things proceed at the same rate, Aavesham will enter the Rs. 50 crore club of Malayalam cinema, mostly by today night (which is also the film’s first Monday at the theatres). While considering the overwhelming responses from the audiences and the increasing rush, it is safe to assume that the Fahadh Faasil starrer will cross the Rs. 70 crore mark at the box office, by the end of its first week at the theatres.
In that case, Aavesham might also emerge as leading man Fahadh’s first-ever solo film to enter the Rs. 100 crore club of Malayalam cinema. The extraordinary box office performance of the Jithu Madhavan directorial also suggests that Malayalam cinema is all set to have its fourth Rs. 100 crore film of 2024, very soon.
