Aashram 3: Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming season of Bobby Deol’s MX Player series

Baba Nirala is soon going to make a comeback on the screens. Fans can’t wait for the new season of the much anticipated series Ashram. Bobby Deol will be reprising his role as Baba Nirala in Aashram 3, which will also introduce some new characters. As the MX Player series, directed by Prakash Jha makes its way onto the screen, here’s everything you need to know about the new season.

In October 2021, the sets of Bobby Deol's Aashram were destroyed by members of a right-wing group who flung ink at director Prakash Jha, accusing the makers for hurting their religious sentiments.

The MX Player show is a crime thriller about a Godman named Baba Nirala, also known as Monty, who has a large following and believes he is a saint, but in truth, he is a conman. It was cleared by the producers in the second season of the series. And now, the third season will be intriguing to see if Baba will be caught for his misdeeds or not.

Bobby Deol will be reprising his role of Baba Nirala, aka Monty. Chandan Roy Sanyal plays Bhupendra Singh aka Bhopa Bhai or Bhopa Swami. Aaditi Phonakar is playing Parminder, Pammi, with whom Baba misbehaves. Tushar Pandey is playing Satwinder Lochan and Darshan Kumar will be seen in the role of a sub-inspector, Ujagar Singh who is investigating Baba Nirala’s case. Anupriya Goenka plays a doctor Natasha’s role, while Tridha Choudhary will appear in the role of Babita. Anil Rastogi plays the character of Chief Minister Sundar Lal and Sekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan Suman plays a singer’s role. His character’s name is Tinka Singh. The show also features Keshav Pandit, Rupesh Kumar, Mala Sinha, Navdeep Tomar, Akhilesh Tripathi, and Preeti Singh.

Habib Faisal wrote the show, while Prakash Jha directed and produced it under his own banner, Prakash Jha Productions. The series consists of two seasons on MX Player.

Ashram 3 release date

Its first season premiered on August 28, 2020, and its second season premiered on November 11, 2020. Each season of the series contains nine episodes. The third season is expected to have nine episodes as well and will premiere on June 3, 2022, on the streaming platform, MX Player.
