Aarya 3: My relationship with Sushmita Sen is very different, says Sikandar Kher | EXCLUSIVE

He is the son of one of Bollywood’s most respected and most revered actors, who is a walking talking institution of acting! We are indeed talking about Sikandar Kher, the son of the legendary Anupam Kher. What is striking about Sikandar Kher is that, despite having the legendary Anupam Kher as his father, Sikandar Kher chose to carve his own identity in his journey of climbing his way up! 

With Aarya 3 just released, OTTplay caught up with Sikandar Kher for an exclusive interview. Here are the excerpts:

Sikandar, to begin with, what does the very term ‘Aarya’ mean to you?
It’s a very interesting question. To me, personally, Aarya means Ram Madhvani and a chance that he gave, which helped me in a very big way in which got a lot of encouragement.

How did you bag your role in Aarya?
I got a call from the casting director Abhimanyu Ray. After a couple of calls and meetings, he said that I was confirmed for the part in Aarya. It was a lot of faith from the casting director in me, who felt that I suited the part. And, he wanted me to do it. That itself says it all!

Most memorable moment during the shooting of Aarya 3?
To be honest, ‘Aarya 3’ was a little tough to do. I don't know how to say this, but we did go through a bit of a scare. And I think that supersedes and makes me forget every other memory. So, but that wasn't the most memory the most memorable. Everything is memorable otherwise! It's just it's lovely to just hang out!

Some actors are intimidated by Sushmita Sen’s confidence and strong persona. How do you feel about working with her?
People are intimidated by Sushmita is fine. But, my relationship with Sushmita is very different. And we had a blast. All in all, it was great fun!

What was the toughest scene for you that you had to film for Aarya 3?
Honestly, for me the toughest thing was to find Daulat (smiles).
