Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan to star opposite Sai Pallavi? Details inside

Bollywood star Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan is about to make his eagerly anticipated entry into the film industry. He is now preparing for his acting debut with a YRF film and while information about his first film with the production house is still being kept under wraps, it is currently being said that his second movie is in development alongside Sai Pallavi. The said love story will be helmed by Sunil Pandey.

Junaid Khan to star opposite Sai Pallavi?

According to ANI, "The preparation of Junaid's untitled next has started. Sai Pallavi apparently will be the leading lady in the film. This will be Junaid's next project, after his YRF debut film. A Sunil Pandey directorial, the film is touted to be a love story."

In the meantime, Junaid Khan made his theatre acting debut in director Quasar Thakore Padamsee's version of Bertolt Brecht's "Mother Courage and Her Children". At the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, Junaid studied theatre for two years, and he has been honing his acting abilities through theater for more than three years. On PK, Junaid had also served as an assistant director.

Meanwhile, about Junaid's first movie, YRF is backing the endeavor. The 1862 Maharaja libel case is supposedly the inspiration for the film. It will also have Sharvari Wagh as the female lead. He has begun filming for the movie and will soon begin its promotional campaign. The makers' official announcement of both projects has been keenly anticipated by fans.

For the uninitiated, Aamir has two children—son Junaid Khan and daughter Ira Khan—with his first wife, Reena Dutta. Aamir remarried to Kiran Rao after his first divorce. In 2011, the now-divorced couple used surrogacy and welcomed their son, Azad.
