Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain hospitalized after suffering heart attack

Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain has reportedly suffered heart attack. She was rushed to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital. According to various reports, she is doing well now and has almost recovered.

Aamir was celebrating Diwali with his mother in their Panchgani residence when she got a heart attack, reports ETimes. The actor and his family are currently taking care of his mother, who is still in the hospital.

The superstar was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie was the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump.

Unfortunately, the movie, which released on Raksha Bandhan, did not work well at the Box Office. The film merely crossed Rs. 50 crores, which is nothing compared to the Box Office records Aamir’s own films have broken.

When the movie released, many demanded a ban on the film. This was touted to be one of the reasons for the film’s failure but trade experts suggest it is not the sole reason for the movie’s downfall. Many have shared that the story did not connect well with the viewers and so, many did not go to watch the film.

Laal Singh Chaddha is now available for streaming on Netflix. The movie released on the OTT platform soon after its theatrical run.

The Advait Chandan directorial was Aamir Khan’s return to movies after four long years. His last appearance as the main lead was in YRF’s Thugs of Hindostan. The film, also starring Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, was as much a dud at the Box Office.

Aamir is yet to announce his next project. He is currently dedicating time to his family and staying with his mother till she recovers completely.
