Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan to get married on this day in 2024

The Khan household is in celebratory mode, as Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, is all set to marry her long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on January 3, 2024. According to sources, Ira will have a registered marriage in court in January, followed by a traditional wedding in Udaipur.

According to ETimes, Ira and the couple has planned an elaborate wedding in Udaipur. It is slated to be a three-day-long affair, with their friends and extended family members in attendance. But, it is said, that the wedding will be an intimate affair, without the presence of anyone from the film industry. Aamir, the father of the bride, is said to be extremely excited and is closely involved with the planning.

Ira and Nupur have never shied away from expressing their love for each other on social media. Nupur proposed to Ira during a triathlon in Italy in September 2022. The couple then had a private engagement ceremony in the presence of friends and family. Aamir Khan, his ex-wives Reena Dutt and Kiran Rao, Mansoor Khan, Imran Khan, and Aamir Khan's mother, Zeenat Hussain, were among those present at the ceremony.

On the work front, Ira is a filmmaker who has directed a play titled Medea. She was also an assistant director of Sonakshi Sinha’s web series, Dahaad.
