Along with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan forms the legendary "trinity" of Bollywood. Over the last 30 years, the three of them have been the most consequential characters in Bollywood. However, in a recent conversation, Aamir clarified that, in addition to the three of them, performers such as Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar have significantly contributed to the development of Hindi cinema over the past three decades.

Iconic Pathaan scene discussion

Salman Khan made a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, and the interview also discussed the film's iconic last scene. Humein hi karna padega bhai. Desh ka sawal hai; bachon pe nahi chhod sakte, Salman's character says with a subtle hint of humour in this encounter. The line loosely translates as "We will have to do it ourselves, brother. It's a matter of the country; we can't leave it to the children." Aamir responded by saying that while all the young actors must have been upset, it's impossible to be too upset when Shah Rukh and Salman are around.

Meanwhile, despite a huge budget of Rs. 180 million, Aamir's most recent film, Laal Singh Chaddha, received mixed reviews and underwhelmed at the box office, earning only around Rs. 130 crore. Commercially, the film bombed, despite everyone's high hopes.
