Aamir Khan announces Junaid Khan's debut as a producer, confirms his cameo in Pritam Pyaare

Aamir Khan has been showing his family side for quite some time and has spoken about his son Junaid Khan foraying into movies. Also recently, the actor, in a video with his daughter, Ira Khan, spoke at length about how they are seeking therapy for their mental health. Now, Aamir has shared details about his son's career, saying that he is not only entering the movies as an actor but also as a producer.

Junaid Khan follows his grandfather's footsteps:

The superstar revealed that Junaid is now entering Bollywood as a producer like Aamir's father, Tahir Hussain. He shared that he was pleased with the results of his new director and his staff. Moreover, Aamir will also have a cameo of about five minutes in the film titled Pritam Pyaare.

Talking about Junaid, he spent six years working in theatre before making the transition to film. His theatrical career officially began in August 2017 with the Quasar Thakore Padamsee-directed production of Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children, a potent satire highlighting the futility of war. That was the beginning of Junaid's serious study of acting.

Meanwhile, Junaid is set for his acting debut with the film Maharaj, directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari, and Shalini Pandey. In the remarkable David vs. Goliath tale Maharaj, a regular guy who happens to be a journalist assumes the role of a strong social role model who many people hail as a messiah for the common people. Interestingly, Aamir also announced his upcoming film, Sitare Zameen Par, at an event held on Tuesday evening. He said, "I have not spoken about it publicly, and I won't be able to say much now either. But I can tell from the title. The title of the film is Sitare Zameen Par. You must have remembered my film Taare Zameen Par, and the name of this film is Sitare Zameen Par because we are moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme."
