The trailer of Prithviraj's much-anticipated movie Aadujeevitham, which means Goat Life, has been leaked on the internet, causing a stir among viewers. The leaked trailer has left audiences awestruck, and the film promises to be a visual spectacle, showcasing a survival drama that highlights the indomitable human spirit.
Aadujeevitham tells the story of Najeeb Muhammed, played by Prithviraj, who leaves his hometown to seek work in a foreign land. Unfortunately, things do not go as planned, and he ends up being trapped in a desert country and hunted down by unknown forces.
The trailer depicts the intense struggle of Najeeb, who faces injuries, thirst, hunger, and exhaustion while being relentlessly pursued. However, his determination to survive never wavers, and he continues to move forward despite the odds stacked against him.
The Aadujeevitham trailer showcases a traditional narrative structure with echoes of director Bharat Bala's previous work in Maryan. The stunning visuals and Prithviraj's outstanding performance are expected to make the movie a major contender for numerous awards.
Prithviraj had undergone a drastic transformation for this movie. He lost over 25 kg of body weight to play the character of Najeeb. Prithviraj's commitment to the role was evident in his no-sugar, no-carb diet plan. And looking at the trailer, the hard work has paid off.
Aadujeevitham is director Blessy's most ambitious film yet. The film is the big-screen adaptation of the novel of the same name. Besides Prithviraj, the film also stars Amala Paul and Vineeth Sreenivasan. And Haitian actor Jimmy Jean-Louis also played a key role in the movie. The film's cinematography is done by K.U. Mohanan and the music is composed by A.R. Rahman.
Aadujeevitham was extensively shot in the Jordan desert. During the filming, the team faced a daunting challenge when they were stranded in the Jordan desert due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The team, including Prithviraj, travelled to Jordan in mid-March 2020 to shoot the final schedule of the movie. However, with the sudden outbreak of the pandemic, the country went into lockdown, and the Aadujeevitham team found themselves stuck in the desert.
However, the team did not lose hope, and they continued to work on the film while waiting for the lockdown to end. They used the time to their advantage and filmed in the desert. After spending nearly three months in the desert, the team was finally able to return home in May 2020, and the film was completed later that year.
The filmmakers are yet to announce the release date.
