AR Rahman, the Academy Award-winning musician, is celebrating his 57th birthday today. As you may know, the celebrated composer was originally supposed to make his comeback to Malayalam cinema after around 3 decades with the upcoming Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Aadujeevitham. However, the project was delayed due to the pandemic, and Rahman returned to the industry with the Fahadh Faasil starrer Malayankunju instead.
Aadujeevitham is now finally gearing up for its grand theatrical release in April 2024, and the team is now set to kickstart the promotional activities of the film. On the occasion of AR Rahman’s birthday, team Aadujeevitham wished the musician by dropping a special video on social media handles.

The Aadujeevitham cast and crew members, including leading man Prithviraj Sukumaran, took to their respective social media handles and dropped a special video, wishing the veteran music composer on his 57th birthday. “Wishing the Mozart of Madras @arrahman a very Happy Birthday!” reads Prithviraj’s Instagram post. The video showcases the visuals of Rahman’s visit to the Aadujeevitham location in Jordan.
Interestingly, the video also shows the making visuals for the highly anticipated Aadujeevitham theme music video, which features AR Rahman himself along with Prithviraj Sukumaran. Earlier, in an interview, the leading man confirmed that the music composer shot for the much-awaited theme music visuals at the Jordan location of the Blessy directorial. With the special video that was revealed on the occasion of AR Rahman’s birthday, the team has confirmed that an epic music album is on its way. More updates on the first single release of Aadujeevitham are expected to be revealed in the upcoming days.

The survival drama, which is helmed by senior filmmaker Blessy, is one of the most anticipated Malayalam films of 2024. Prithviraj Sukumaran went through extreme physical transformations to play the role of Najeeb Muhammed in the film, which is based on Benyamin’s best-seller novel of the same name. Amala Paul is playing a pivotal role in the film, which is set to hit theatres in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
