Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s wife, Supriya Menon, is in high praise for his efforts and dedication for his highly anticipated film, Aadujeevitham, which is all set to hit the big screen today (March 28). The former journalist detailed her husband's transformation into Najeeb for the survival thriller in an Instagram post.

She described the various sacrifices Prithviraj had to make for the movie, including going without food for days, losing weight, missing out on opportunities to work in other languages, and being separated from his family during the difficult Covid-19 pandemic. “Through it all, you maintained focus, this was the journey you chose to undertake for the sake of art and all that it stood for you,” she wrote.

Supriya added, “I have only one thing to say, the dedication that you show is unparalleled and unmatched in my eyes. And I wish you all the success and love from the people at large who watch this beautiful piece of art. You always are The G.O.A.T in my eyes!”

She also complimented the director's efforts for Aadujeevitham and shared a few pictures of herself and their daughter, Alankrita, with Prithviraj on the sets. Several actors expressed their eagerness to see this movie in theatres in the comments section of this Instagram post.

This movie represents a major turning point in the careers of director Blessy and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, and it is anticipated to win them numerous international awards and recognition. It is also expected that Aadujeevitham will contribute to Malayalam cinema's standing internationally.

Based on a best-selling novel by Benyamin, Aadujeevitham tells the real tale of a Malayali who becomes a victim of a shady scheme to enslave people and ends up living as a goatherd in Saudi Arabia's deserts for over three years without even the most basic necessities for survival. It also reveals how he eventually makes a daring escape from his captors.
