Actress Amala Paul was utterly excited while speaking about her next movie, Aadujeevitham, in an interview with OTTplay. Moreover, her admiration for her character, Sainu, in this much-awaited survival thriller was palpable as she talked about Najeeb's soulmate.
She said that the character holds a lot of personal significance for her. She remarked, "Sainu is a very innocent yet brave young woman who wants to lead a better life for herself and Najeeb." She is an intense lover who is compelled to say goodbye to Najeeb for the sake of their future, according to Amala.
"Sainu is from Kerala's northern region. She is married to Najeeb, whose home is encircled by water." She continued, "There are some really beautiful moments in this film, like when Najeeb teaches her how to swim—that's when the song 'Omane' comes in."
The South Indian actress described Najeeb and Sainu as soulmates who were meant to cross paths. Their deep bond is incredibly beautiful to experience and comprehend. Just before their first night together, Sainu saw Najeeb for the first time after their arranged marriage, the woman recalled.
Amala clarified that Sainu had to summon all her strength to send her husband to the Gulf so soon after they were married, particularly when she was expecting a child. She continued by saying that Sainu was doing all of this to provide for their family and live a better life.
There was only one room and leaky ceilings in Najeeb's home. Even their private moments are spent together on a boat. With her life partner and child, Sainu is hopeful for a better future, she said.
Amala said she felt like she was a part of the journey after finishing Benyamin's Aadujeevitham. She decided to commit to this project without second thought when director Blessy called. "I knew Sainu's role in the book was minimal, but Blessy had other ideas and gave me a wonderful character that I will always treasure," the Oru Indian Pranayakadha star remarked.
