Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran’s most-anticipated film Aadujeevitham, which had gone on floors five years ago, is finally set to get a release date. The makers of the Blessy film have revealed an announcement video featuring BTS photos of the making of the film from various locations along with timeline and when its release date will be unveiled.
Aadujeevitham release date to be announced on November 30
The makers of the film along with its lead actor Prithviraj Sukumaran and composer AR Rahman shared a video on social media that showcased various locations where the film was shot.
Titled ‘The Journey Unfolds Leaving Imprints of Memories’, the video begins with March 2018, Kerala, where the film was first shot, followed by January 2019 in Jordan – where the team was also stranded in 2020 during the pandemic lockdown. In April 2022, the shooting resumed at Timimoun, the heart of Sahara Desert, in Algeria before the team returned to Jordan in May and wrapped up its filming in Kerala in July 2022.
The video ends with the caption, “Redefining Anticipation”, along with announcing that the team will reveal the official release date of the film on November 30 at 4pm. The announcement has got fans already beaming in excitement.
Aadujeevitham leaked trailer: Prithiviraj in an unrecognisable avatar in Blessy’s survival drama
Prithviraj had mentioned earlier that Aadujeevitham has all the necessary elements to be classified as a commercial movie and that it cannot be termed an art film. A trailer of the film, which was leaked earlier, showcases the actor in an unrecognisable avatar. Prithviraj embodies the character of Najeeb, a slave to his Arab employer, who is trapped in the Saudi Arabian desert. The film is an adaptation of Benyamin’s novel which goes by the same name.
Is Aadujeevitham set for a Vishu 2024 release?
Earlier, it was rumoured that the Blessy film will clash with Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Varshangalkku Shesham in April 2024. However, the official date of Prithviraj’s Aadujeevitham will be out in two days, which can predict the changes in the release dates of other films lined up for Vishu 2024 release. Earlier, it was also speculated that the upcoming Fahadh Faasil-starrer Aavesham, and Unni Mukundan’s Jai Ganesh, might also hit theatres around the same time.
AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty reunite for Aadujeevitham
Academy Award winners AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty are handling the film’s music department and sound design, respectively. Rahman had even visited the team in Jordan during its shoot. Amala Paul plays the female lead in Aadujeevitham, which also has several international actors as part of the cast.
