Aadujeevitham OTT release date: When, where to watch the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer

Aadujeevitham, the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer is one of the most-loved Indian films of recent times. The survival drama written and directed by Blessy earned immense love from both the audiences and critics and emerged as one of the all-time highest-grossing films in the Malayalam film industry. After a long wait, Aadujeevitham aka The Goat Life is gearing up for its OTT release. The leading OTT platform, Netflix, has bagged the streaming rights of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s blockbuster film.

Aadujeevitham OTT release date is out

Prithviraj Sukumaran, the leading man of The Goat Life, recently took to his official social media handles and announced the OTT release of the film. Aadujeevitham is slated to have its OTT release on Netflix on July 19, 2024. The Blessy directorial, which hit the theatres on March 28, 2024, is finally getting its digital release after a long wait. The Prithviraj starrer is expected to be streamed from midnight of Friday, July 19, 2024, on Netflix. As expected, Aadujeevitham will be streaming on the platform in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Aadujeevitham OTT version to have a longer runtime?

As reported earlier, the Aadujeevitham OTT version, which is all set to be streamed on Netflix, is expected to have a longer duration. Earlier during the promotions of the film, director Blessy revealed that the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer was originally a much longer film, and had a runtime of 3 hours and 30 minutes. However, the makers had to chop off over 30 minutes of footage, to fit into the standard duration of a theatrical film. However, The Goat Life is expected to have its OTT release in its uncut format.

Aadujeevitham plot, cast and crew

Najeeb Muhammed (Prithviraj Sukumaran) and Hakim (KR Gokul), two Malayali immigrants arrive in Saudi Arabia, seeking a better life. However, they get abducted by an Arab who forces Najeeb to work in a remote desert, as the caretaker of a goat herd. Along with Prithviraj and KR Gokul, the Blessy directorial stars Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Shobha Mohan, Talib Al Balushi, Nasar Karutheni, and others in supporting roles. AR Rahman composed the music for Aadujeevitham, which is bankrolled by Visual Romance, Jet Media Production, and Alta Global Media.
