Prithviraj Sukumaran, the actor-director, is one of the busiest actors of South Indian cinema. The popular star, who is also active in his filmmaking career, has the most exciting line-up for the next year. After a short break, Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to return the big screens on April 10, 2024, with his most-awaited release Aadujeevitham. The multi-faceted talent is also planning to dedicate major part of the next year for his upcoming directorial venture, L2 Empuraan.

Aadujeevitham

The highly anticipated survival drama, which is helmed by the senior filmmaker Blessy, is one of the most anticipated Malayalam films of 2024. Prithviraj Sukumaran went through extreme physical transformations for his character Najeeb Muhammed in the film, which is based on Benyamin’s best seller novel of the same name. As per the reports, the talented actor has delivered the finest performance of his acting career so far in Aadujeevitham, which is set to hit the theatres in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. AR Rahman has composed songs and original score for the movie, which is set to hit the screens on April 10, 2024.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to make a comeback to Bollywood after a gap of 6 years, with the upcoming mass action thriller, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, which stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, reported stars the actor-director as the lead antagonist. Prithviraj Sukumaran is reportedly set to play the role of Kabir, a genius robotics scientist in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which is slated to hit the theatres on April 10, 2024.

Salaar 2

As you may know, Salaar, the upcoming Prabhas starrer which features Prithviraj Sukumaran in a pivotal role, has been planned as a two-part franchise. The first installment of the Prashanth Neel directorial will hit the theatres on December 22, 2023. If the reports are to be believed, the much-awaited second installment, which has been tentatively titled Salaar 2, is slated to hit the big screens by mid-2024. The makers are expected to officially announce the release date of part two after the first installment completes its theatrical run.

Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil

The upcoming Vipin Das directorial, which is touted to be a comedy entertainer, stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and actor-director Basil Joseph, in the lead roles. The popular actor is said to be playing a grey-shaded character in the movie, which is now nearing the final stages of its shooting. Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, which reportedly revolves around a wedding that takes place in the famous Guruvayoor Sri Krishna temple, is expected to hit the theatres by mid-2024.

Vilayath Buddha

The project, which marks the directroial debut of late filmmaker Sachi’s long-time associate Jayan Nambiar, features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the role of a smuggler named Double Mohanan. The actor had met with an accident on the sets of Vilayath Buddha in June, this year, after which he took a 3-month-long break for recovery. However, the latest reports suggest that the shooting of the project is almost finished, and the team has already kickstarted the post-production works. In that case, Vilayath Buddha will hit the theatres by mid-2024.

Sarzameen

Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to share the screen with senior Bollywood star Kajol and newcomer Ibrahim Ali Khan, who is the son of popular actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, in his next Bollywood outing Sarzameen. The project, which marks the directorial debut of actor Boman Irani’s son Kayoze Irani, is touted to be an emotional drama set in the backdrop of army. Sarzameen, which is produced by Karan Johar, is expected to get released by the second half of 2024.
