A Tiger 3 fan just compared Salman Khan’s film to Hrithik Roshan’s War – reactions

The internet is a place with many opinionated people. While most think alike – they either like something or bash it – others dare to think different. One such Reddit user had an unpopular opinion on Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-Emraan Hashmi’s Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma. This user not only contradicted the popular opinion but also went ahead and compared Tiger 3 to another YRF Spy Universe film, Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff’s War, helmed by Siddharth Anand.

Tiger 3 better than Pathaan?

First up came some views that Tiger 3 is better than Pathaan. Both the movies are from the YRF Spy Universe and had Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan as the highlights. One user said that in comparison to Pathaan and Jawan’s plot, Tiger 3 still made sense. What many pointed out is that the pro Pakistan angle in the film did not work for them but the movie wasn’t as bad as people claimed.

Netizens believe Salman did not want to act

“Sallu bhai looked tired and disinterested throughout the movie,” a user wrote. Another went on to compare Tiger 3 to Pathaan and claim that SRK at least ‘looked like he wanted to act’ in Pathaan.

Other opinions

As expected, netizens did their job pretty well with the comments section. Some shared love, some tried to get brutal, some were funny and some downright demanding. One user said that while the society would accept the fan, Sir Issac Newton wouldn’t (for Tiger 3, like many movies, defied the concept of gravity). Another demanded the society to accept the fan because they ‘already liked films like Pathaan, Jawan and Animal.’

YRF Spy Universe films in the works

While War was directed by Siddharth Anand and featured Tiger Shroff, War 2 is helmed by Ayan Mukerji and although it sees Hrithik back in action, this time it is with Jr. NTR. Apart from War 2, Tiger vs Pathaan, which will see SRK and Salman in action, will go on floors soon.
