The title posters of Asif Ali's A Ranjith Cinema have been getting a lot of attention on social media. The first poster for the film which had Asif Ali, Anson Paul, and Saiju Kurup, was released by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Manju Warrier released the poster for the female cast.
The movie's promotional material was then shared online by prominent Malayalam celebrities such as Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Unni Mukundan, and Antony Varghese. Thus, the film has been getting significant attention despite being directed by newcomer Nishanth Sattu and Asif being the only star actor in the cast.
What is A Ranjith Cinema about?
The shoot of A Ranjith Cinema concluded in July. During an interview with OTTplay, Nishanth shared that the film is an urban comedy in which Asif's character experiences a psychological breakdown. He also mentioned that the movie revolves around Asif and his family, who overcome the challenging situation. Regarding the film's title, Nishanth said that it as a movie within a movie, while assuring us that his film is different from others that have attempted a similar subject.
Nishanth also said that pitching the script to Asif was easy because he had worked with him in films like Bachelor Party as an associate director. Nishanth has been a part of the Malayalam film industry for 17 years as an associate of directors such as Shafi, Amal Neerad, and Santosh Sivan.
