Kalki 2898 AD aka Project K is one of the most awaited films in the country. Prabhas plays the main lead and Deepika Padukone is the heroine of this scientific action drama which is being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies on a massive scale. Nag Ashwin on Mahanati fame, is directing this film which has completed 80% of its shoot.
Well, two days back, a new snap of Prabhas from a key scene in Project K was leaked online. This gave a major clue about Prabhas's role as well and it was shared widely on social media. The makers requested everyone not to share the snap which is being circulated on social media.
Now, the latest update is that the makers have found out that the still was leaked by one of the employees of the VFX company which was hired by the makers. The word is also that the one who leaked the snap has been fired by the company.
If this was not enough, the makers, of Vyjayanthi Movie have filed a defamation lawsuit against the VDX company and a criminal case has also been registered against the one who leaked the picture. The makers have taken the issue very seriously as per the news and are hellbent on making sure such leaks do not happen again.
Project K is one of the prestigious films and the legendary Kamala Haasan is playing the main villain. Already, the film has the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in key roles. The recently released teaser which was launched at Comic-Con in the US made heads turn.
As per the news, Kalki 2898 is all set to hit the screens on January 12, 2024, as Sankranthi special in Telugu and other languages. Santhosh Narayanan composes the music for this film which will also be released in Hindi and all southern languages.
