96 release date: When and where to watch the Telugu romantic drama starring Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha

96, the romantic drama starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan in the lead, earned a cult status among audiences within a few days of its release in Tamil. Written and directed by C Premkumar, the film, which had a stellar music album by Govind Vasantha, managed to look at teenage love, heartbreak in a new light and is still celebrated by movie buffs now now. The Telugu dubbed version of 96 will have a direct digital release on the OTT platform aha on February 18.

The film starts with Ramachandran, a travel photographer, revisiting his high school, feeling nostalgic about his childhood, and ensuring that he and his friends come together for a reunion, planned through a WhatsApp group. The reunion has him meeting his old flame Janaki a.k.a Jaanu after 22 years. Will the event trigger a new change in the relationship between Ram and Jaanu? Watch out for 96 to know more. 

The Telugu dubbed version of 96 comes off as a surprise because it was remade in Telugu as Jaanu, starring Sharwanand and Samantha a couple of years ago too.
