Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie is one of the most highly-anticipated Kannada films of the year. The Kiranraj K directorial, which was earlier scheduled to release as the year end film of 2021, was pushed ahead amid fears of a third wave of the pandemic and later fixed for June 10, 2022, as a belated birthday gift for Rakshit.

With less than a month to go for 777 Charlie’s release, Rakshit has been announcing the strategic partnerships that the team has forged for the film’s pan-India release, given that it is coming out in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Speaking to the media, Rakshit has been quoted as saying that all the business deals that have been cracked for the film were done after showing it to prospective collaborators, be it Colors Kannada for the satellite rights, or UFO India for the Hindi distribution, among others. The actor-filmmaker added that not only did he not want to follow the normal trend of formalizing deals based on the star value of the leading man, but was also riding on the confidence of sitting with good content, while showing 777 Charlie to business partners.

Rakshit said that he was counting on dog lovers and movie aficionados to watch 777 Charlie in the opening week.
