73rd Primetime Emmy Awards is finally here and the who's who from the world of talented artists have assembled under one roof at Microsoft Theater, Lucky Strike LA Live. Cedric the Entertainer has turned the host for the evening. The nominations for this year have brought the world of television and OTT platforms together. Moreover, the year 2020 witnessed amazing talents entertaining in different genres and receiving well-deserving nominations in various categories.

Jason Sudeikis wins Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series for his role in Ted Lasso. While Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein win the Outstanding Best Supporting Actors in a Comedy Series for their performance in the AppleTV+ series. Ted Lasso also won the Outstanding Comedy Series.

Kate Winslet is bestowed with Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie for her role as Mare Sheehan in Mare Of Easttown. While Mare Of Easttown actors Julianne Nicholson and Evan Peters have bagged the Outstanding Supporting Actors In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie in the respective categories for their incredible performance. 

Gillian Anderson and Tobias Menzies were honoured with Outstanding Supporting Actors In A Drama Series for their unforgettable performances in The Crown.

In the Drama categories, The Crown took away the awards for Best Writing and Best Directing respectively won by Peter Morgan and Jessica Hobbs. Meanwhile, Netflix's expensive show was once again honoured with Outstanding Drama Series.

HBO Max series Hacks wins big in the Comedy category by bagging awards for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series by Jean Smart. The series also won Best Writing and Best Direction. 

Netflix's limited series The Queen's Gambit wins the final award of the event in the Outstanding Limited Or Anthology Series category.
