From R Madhavan's Hisaab Barabar to the Telugu series Sivarapalli, a remake of Jitendra Kumar’s Panchayat, here's everything that will be released on OTT on January 24. 

Movies and shows to release on OTT on January 24:

Hisaab Barabar

Hisaab Barabar stars R Madhavan, Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Rashami Desai in lead roles. The satirical thriller is directed by Ashwni Dhir. It follows the story of a railway ticket checker who tries to resolve an issue, which leads him to uncover a major financial fraud, that is linked to a banker. It will be released on ZEE5. You can also watch it through your OTTplay Premium subscription. 

Sweet Dreams

Amol Parashar and Mithila Palkar will headline this romantic film. Directed by Victor Mukherjee, the story revolves around two strangers Kenny and Dia who start dreaming about each other and eventually fall in love. How will their dream turn into a reality? To know this, you will have to watch the film on Disney+ Hotstar on January 24. 

Sivarapalli

Sivarapalli is a Telugu remake of the popular Hindi series Panchayat starring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav. Created by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra, the upcoming slice-of-life drama will feature Rag Mayur in the lead role. It focuses on the daily challenges of an engineering graduate, who takes up the job of a Panchayat Secretary at Sivarapalli, a remote village in Telangana. It will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.

The Smile Man

Helmed by Syam-Praveen, the Tamil crime thriller stars Sarath Kumar in the lead role. It revolves around a seasoned cop, who suffers from Alzheimer’s. At the same time, he takes over a serial killer case who seems to be targeting people and murdering them in the same way. It will be available to watch on Aha and OTTplay Premium. 

Razakar

Directed by Yata Satyanarayana, the Telugu historical drama features Bobby Simha, Tej Sapru, Makarand Deshpande, and Raj Arjun. Set in the early days of independence, it follows the struggles of people in Hyderabad as they seek to reclaim their identity. It will be released on Aha and you will be able to watch it through OTTplay Premium subscription too.

The Sand Castle

Directed by Matty Brown, the film revolves around a family of four, stranded on a deserted island, scavenging for survival as their past unravels, sending them into a downward spiral of painful events. It will be released on Netflix on January 24. 

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call

The South Korean medical drama television series is directed by Lee Do-yoon, and stars Ju Ji-hoon, Choo Young-woo, Ha Young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Jung Jae-kwang. The series follows the journey of Baek Gang-hyeok, a brilliant trauma surgeon who joins a struggling university hospital. It will be released on Netflix.
