When and where to watch 7/G

Starring Sonia Agarwal in the lead, this latest horror thriller is finally making its OTT premiere on Aha Tamil on August 9, 2024. The film will also be available on OTTPlay Premium. The film had failed to connect with the audiences upon its theatrical release and it remains to be seen how the movie will perform on the OTT platform.

What's the plot of 7/G

The film revolves around a married couple, Varsha and Rajiv, who along with their son, Rahul, move to a new flat - no. 7/G. However, little do they know that a dark presence has been lurking in the shadows. Soon they start experiencing paranormal activities.

However, the film lacked depth and with the cliched narrative of blending modern lifestyle with exorcism, it failed to offer anything new to the audience and tanked at the box office.

More about 7/G

Apart from Sonia Agarwal, the film also featured Smruthi Venkat, and Siddharth Vipin in key roles.  7/G marked the first collaboration between these three actors.

On the technical front, Kanna was in charge of cinematography, while Biju V Don Bosco handled the editing. Siddharth Vipin has composed the film’s songs.

Comparisons with 7G Rainbow Colony

The film was in the news a couple of months ago, after its title sparked speculations about a connection to another Sonia Agarwal film—7G Rainbow Colony. However, director Haroon later explained that the similarity in titles is a mere coincidence. He also revealed that the horror drama was initially intended to be shot in apartment no. 8/G, but the production team shifted it to apartment no. 7/G. Hence, the two films share no narrative or thematic connections, and everything is just rumours.
