Rohan and Krithika Shetty too play crucial roles in the new-age rom-com that hit theatres earlier this June

Leading producer MS Raju, who was behind many memorable Telugu films like Okkadu, Varsham, Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana, Manasantha Nuvve and Nee Sneham, to name a few, turned a director with Tooneega Toonega starring his own Sumanth Ashwin many years ago. He returned to film direction with Dirty Hari recently and followed it up with a romantic entertainer 7 Days 6 Nights, that hit theatres earlier this year on June 24. The film is now gearing up for its OTT premiere.
7 Days 6 Nights stars Sumanth Ashwin, Meher Chahal, Rohan and Krithika Shetty in pivotal roles. The film was jointly produced by Sumanth Ashwin and Rajinikanth S under Wild Honey Production in collaboration with Wintage Pictures and ABG Creations. Regional OTT platform aha has acquired the film's post theatrical streaming rights and will premiere the film across the globe this weekend on September 9.
The film was shot amidst scenic locations in the vicinity of Hyderabad, Bangalore, Udipi, Gokarna and Goa. At the time of the film's release, the director shared that 7 Days 6 Nights would be a fun ride for audiences across all age groups. MS Raju opined that the film would showcase Sumanth Ashwin's career-best performance to audiences and claimed they would love his characterisation. aha had released a special trailer cut for the streaming audiences yesterday.
With music by Samarth Gollapudi, the film has cinematography by Nani Chamidisetty. The film was edited by Liger-fame Junaid Siddiqui and had production design by Bhaskar Mudavath. UV Sushma was the co-director while the co-producers include J Srinivasa Raju and Manthena Ramu, to name a few. MS Raju also wrote the story of 7 Days 6 Nights. His earlier film, Dirty Hari, is also streaming on aha. His next theatrical release is Sathi.
