On Thursday, the 69th National Film Awards were announced live in New Delhi at the National Media Centre. The CBFC-certified movies for 2021 had their winners announced. At the live ceremony, the best feature film went to Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, while RRR took home the trophy for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, and The Kashmir Files won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration.
In recognition of his outstanding performance in Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun has been named Best Actor, while Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon have been named Best Actress for their roles in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi, respectively.

777 Charlie, starring Rakshit Shetty in the lead role, won the Best Kannada Film award. The film is directed by Kiranraj K. and produced by Parmvah Studios Pvt.Ltd.

Aneesh Basu won Best Audiography for the Bengali film.

Keeravaani won for Best Background Score. The film also won technical awards, which include Special Effects Creator to V Srinivas Mohan, Choreographer to Prem Rakshith, and Stunt Choreographer to King Soloman.

Avik Mukhopadhayay won Best Cinematography for Shoojit Sircar's biographical film. The film was also bestowed with Sinoy Joseph for Best Audiography, Dmitrii Malich and Mansi Dhruv Mehta for Best Production Design, Veera Kapur Ee for Best Costume Designer, and Best Hindi Film.
