#68thNationalFilmAwards: Here's the complete list of winners who bagged the top honours

The 68th National Film Awards were announced sometime ago based on the report submitted by a 10-member team headed by filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah. As always, the announcement sprung a few surprises, but it looks like there is no room for controversies this time, as film lovers are convinced with the selection of winners in most of the categories.

Suriya and Ajay Devgn shared the Best Actor award for their respective performances in Tamil film Soorarai Pottru and Hindi movie Tanhaji, while Aparna Balamurali bagged the Best Actress award for Soorarai Pottru. 

Besides, Soorarai Pottru and Tanhaji were adjudged as Best Feature Film and Best Popular Film respectively. The former bagged awards under Best Screenplay (Sudha Kongara and Shalini Usha) and Best Background Score (GV Prakash), too, while the latter went on to bag Best Costume Design (Nachiket Barve and Mahesh Sherla) award as well.

Acclaimed Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum garnered the prestigious recognition under four categories, Best Director (Sachy), Best Supporting Actor (Biju Menon), Best Female Playback Singer (Nanjamma) and Best Stunt Choreography (Rajasekhar, Mafia Sasi and Supreme Sunder).

Tamil movie Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengalum has bagged three awards under the categories Best Editing (Sreekar Prasad), Best Tamil Film and Best Supporting Actress (Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli). Mandela is another Tamil movie which went on to win more than one award. The film won the honour for Best Dialogues and Best Debut Director (Madonne Ashwin). 

Supratim Bhol won the award for the Best Cinematography section for Bengali film Avijatrik, while Best Child Artist award has been shared between Anish Mangesh Gosavi (Marathi film Tak-Tak), Akanksha Pingle (Marathi film Sumi) and Divyesh Indulkar (Marathi film Sumi). 

Sandhya Raju won the Best Choreography award for Telugu film Natyam. The movie also bagged another honour under the Best Make-up Artist (TV Rambabu) category.
