Diljit Dosanjh on the challenges of his role in Soorma

Earlier, in an interview with PTI, Diljit Dosanjh said that his role in Soorma was extremely draining as it came with intense training. The actor found it physically tough to play the character and he faced a lot of problems after shooting for the movie. Dosanjh said when he was shooting for Soorma, he stopped consuming sugar and used to eat very little salt.

"Because we wanted the physique of an athlete in a very short time, I pushed my body a lot to achieve that result. When the film got over and I started eating normally, I got swelling on my hands, face and all over the body. There was a reaction. When you reduce the intake of salt, the water in your body doesn’t stay and you get cramps," he told.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Diljit was last seen in Jatt and Juliet 3.
