Helmed by Sridhar K, Parachute is a sensitive and heartwarming take on parenting. After a sibling duo takes their strict father’s moppet for a ride and it gets stolen, the children go in search of it, leaving their parents with no clue about their disappearance. With subtle acting performances, crisp screenplay, and technical execution, Parachute is one of the must-watch web series this year.

Inspector Rishi

Inspector Rishi stars Naveen Chandra, Sunainaa, Srikrishna Dayal, Kanna Ravi, Ilango Kumaravel, Malini Jeevaratnam and others. The supernatural thriller series revolves around a series of murders that take place in a forest-bound village, with a supernatural force believed to be at play. However, when the titular character takes charge, there is much more than what meets the eye. Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam

Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam is a comedy web series, which is adapted from the Hindi version titled Panchayat. The Tamil version is headlined by Abhishek Kumar, along with a cast comprising Devadarshini, Niyathi and Chetan Kadambi and others. The series revolves around a young Chennai man posted as Panchayat Secretary at an isolated village. The series takes a comedic route by showing how the young graduate has to adapt to the nature of rural life and the residents. The Tamil version of the series boasts a clean execution in its frame-by-frame remake, retaining the original’s authenticity. Bankrolled by Arunabh Kumar under the banner The Viral Fever, the series is directed by Naga.

Chutney Sambar

Helmed by Radha Mohan, Chutney Sambar is headlined by actor Yogi Babu. Apart from him, there are also notable faces like Vani Bhojan, Chandramouli, Ilango Kumaravel, Nandhini, and Nithin Sathyaa in prominent roles. The series revolves around the son of a famous café, who goes in search of his step-brother after their father’s demise. With the step-brother also happens to own an eatery, the series takes emotional and comedic route to tell this family drama.
