44th International Chess Olympiad : Vignesh Shivan is the man of the moment after inaugural show

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Vignesh Shivan is the man of the moment after his scintillating show at the inaugural of the 44th International Chess Olympiad. The show that featured the Tamil heritage has won the hearts of many and Vignesh Shivan has been basking in the accolades for the same. People from across the quarters, including the film fraternity, have been congratulating him on the success of the show.

Vignesh Shivan had revealed that Superstar Rajinikanth had called him soon after the event and appreciated his work. Vignesh shared the news on his social media page, "An event to remember ❤️😇 thank U superstar @rajinikanth sir for the appreciation in person during the event & the phone call immediately after the event 😇☺️ Was the Happiest to hear ur voice & compliments abt the Olympiad event! U being there made the day even more beautiful 😍 (sic)."

In the meantime, many others from the industry also lauded the director for his work. Calling it a superbly put together cultural show, Karthi wrote, "Fantastic opening ceremony for #44thInternationalChessOlympiad organised by our Govt. A big welcome & best wishes to all the players. Superbly put together cultural show by @VigneshShivN showcasing Tamil heritage was the highlight. Congratulations to all the artists & organizers (sic)."

Brindha Gopal, who choreographed the promotional video said that it was lovely working with Vignesh. She wrote, "Thanks to the entire team of the 44th Chess Olympiad Anthem. Thanks to our honourable Chief Minister @mkstalin sir🙏 and @Udhaystalin sir😊. It was lovely working with the most talented @arrahman sir 🤩Thank you @VigneshShivN 🤗 @RathnaveluDop 🤗 and beautiful @AditiShankarofl 🥰 (sic)." To which Vignesh replied, "Sweeetest & the best master 🥲🥲❤️❤️😇😇💐💐☺️☺️☺️☺️ always a joy working with u master 😇☺️☺️ (sic)."

Actor Krishna wrote on his social media page, "The ♟ competition begins. Wishing all the participants from all countries my best. Absolutely enjoyed the inauguration @VigneshShivN 💪🏽 (sic)."

Harish Kalyan said that he, too, was feeling proud of the Olympiad and congratulated the government.
