36 Days, directed by Vishal Furia, recently had its digital premiere on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. The show is the Indian remake of the British series, 35 Days. Starring Purab Kohli, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Neha Sharma in the lead roles, the web show premiered on the streamer and OTTplay Premium on July 12, 2024. In the latest promo released by the makers, Chandan's character Tony Walia is introduced as a suspect in Neha aka Farah's murder in the series.
The latest promo of 36 Days was shared on Instagram. It highlights a few conversations between Chandan Roy Sanyal and Neha Sharma's characters, Tony Walia and Farah. Tony seems to be highly upset after rejection from Farah. He wonders why Farah rejected him, the real estate king of Goa.
Further, when he is introduced as a suspect in Farah's murder, Chandan's Tony makes it clear that "I am a businessman and not a murderer." Sharing this promo on the gram, SonyLIV wrote, "Was rejection from Farah the reason that pushed Tony into doing the unthinkable? Find out who Farah’s killer really is on ‘36 Days’ streaming now on Sony LIV (sic)."

In an interview with IANS, Chandan Roy Sanyal spoke about his character Tony Walia in Vishal Furia's web series, 36 Days. "It was really difficult for me to bring out the emotion of disgust for Sushant Divgikar's on-screen character, Tara. It was Sushant's constant assurance that helped me push through—he reminded me that people outside are far worse than what Tony does to Tara," the actor said.
Sanyal further mentioned, "I truly hope Tony's character pierces people's hearts and makes them hate him, but also realise the importance of treating everyone equally."
