The makers of upcoming Telugu film, 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu, have dropped its teaser today (July 3). They have also confirmed that the movie, which is directed by debutant Nanda Kishore Emani, will hit the big screen on August 15 in Tamil and Malayalam as well, apart from Telugu.
Nivetha Thomas shared the movie's first look poster on social media, and it has a light-hearted charm. She captioned her Instagram post, "A movie that speaks to every parent, an experience that will stay with every child!" Alongside Nivetha Thomas, the poster showcases Priyadarshi, VishwaDev Rachakonda, and other celebrities displaying a range of emotions. The actress and Regina Cassandra co-starred in a significant role in the 2022 movie, Saakini Daakini.
The teaser is full of adorable moments and visuals, showcasing the life of a middle-class family. It is set in the temple town of Tirupati. Vishwadev Rachakonda plays the breadwinner of the family, while Nivetha Thomas appears as a young mother of two who stays at home to care for them. While everything is going well, problems arise between the husband and wife when their son's school exams result in an acceptable passing score of 35. Priyadarshi is portrayed as a harsh mathematics teacher.
In the teaser, the husband can be seen criticising his wife for their son's poor academic performance. The pressure appears to have depressed the son as well, and he goes missing. The video is humorous, for sure, but towards the end it gets poignant. This masterfully crafted teaser contains relatable moments meant to appeal to a family audience.
This film also features Bhagyaraj and Gautami, two popular Tamil actors. 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu is bankrolled by Rana Daggubati, Srujan Yarabolu, and Siddharth Rallapalli under the banners of Suresh Productions, S Originals, and Waltair Productions. Niketh Bommi is the cinematographer and soundtracks have been composed by Vivek Sagar.
