30 Weds 21-fame actor Chaitanya Rao signs his next with O Pitta Katha filmmaker Chendu Muddu

Actor Chaitanya Rao, who shot to fame with Chai Bisket's web show 30 Weds 21 and will appear next in Mukhachitram, has signed another new film. He will headline a thriller to be helmed by Chendu Muddu, the brain behind the critically acclaimed film O Pitta Katha. Yash Rangineni, who had bankrolled films like Pelli Choopulu, ABCD in the past, will be producing the film under his banner BigBen Cinemas.

The Chaitanya Rao-starrer is touted to be a family entertainer/comedy set in a village backdrop. The project is will be formally launched soon and more details about the cast and crew will be announced shortly. The banner, BigBen Cinemas, is also currenty involved in the production of Sri Simha's Bhaag Saale in collaboration with Suresh Productions.

Before 30 Weds 21, Chaitanya had made appearances in several notable films including Premam, Shamantakamani, Hawaa, Guvva Gorinka, Vakeel Saab and Thimmarusu to name a few. His next release Mukhachitram also features Vikas Vasista, Priya Vadlamani, Ayesha Khan, Sunil in important roles and is directed by Gangadhar. Mukhachitram is written and produced by Sandeep Raj. The release date hasn't been revealed yet.
