Filmmaker Rajeev Ravi's this masterpiece should be on the top of your watchlist this week. Starring Nivin Pauly in the lead role, the movie chronicles the events leading to one of the watershed moments in the history of Kerala politics. The film explores the dehumanising nature of the feudal 'Chappa' system and how its evolved into modern India. The movie has several powerful performances by Nivin, Poornima Indrajith and Nimisha Sajayan. Thuramukham didn't get its due at the box office. Hopefully, it will find its audiences in the OTT space.

Dasara:

Helmed by debutant Srikanth Odela, Dasara is an important movie in Telugu star Nani's career . This movie redefined Nani's onscreen image and turned him into an action hero. In Dasara, Nani's Dharani shares the DNA of director Sukumar's heroes from the downtrodden community. Sukumar is Srikanth's mentor and his influences in the movie are evident. And yet, Dasara stands tall on its own merits thanks to the powerful performances of its cast, especially Nani and Keerthy Suresh. The movie was the biggest commercial hit in Nani's career.

Dasara will release on Netflix on April 27.

Citadel:

Amazon Prime Video's latest web series is a highly ambitious and action-packed spy thriller, featuring global superstars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the lead roles. The series takes viewers on a thrilling ride across multiple continents, promising non-stop action and excitement. Notably, the series has been planned on a massive scale, with spin-offs in several other languages and countries, including India. The Indian version will feature Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles, and fans of Priyanka Chopra Jonas can look forward to seeing her in full-fledged action after a long hiatus.

Citadel debuts on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.
