Chithha:

Chithha is Tamil for the father's younger brother. The film tells the story of a man, who takes care of his niece, following the untimely death of his elder brother. However, his life turns upside down when she gets kidnapped, resulting in a heart-wrenching search, subjecting Siddharth's Chithha to some gut-wrenching experiences as the film explores the depths of human depravity.

Written and directed by young filmmaker S. U. Arun Kumar, Chithha doesn't just aspire to entertain the audience. It seems the main intention of the filmmakers was to educate the viewers about the safety risks confronting children in today's world.

Chithha is not an easy watch, nonetheless, it's an important film.

Chithha will debut on Disney+Hotstar on November 17.

Kannur Squad:

If you are in the mood for a cop thriller, inspired by real-life events, then Kannur Squad is a must-watch. Starring Mammootty in the lead role, Kannur Squad tells the story of a team of cops, who brave numerous challenges to solve a tricky case.

Kannur Squad marks the directorial debut of popular cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj, so you can expect to see some beautiful frames in the procedural drama. Meanwhile, screenwriters Muhammed Shafi and Rony David Raj have written the screenplay based on the adventures of a team of Kerala state police, who is known for solving some high-stake cases between 2007 and 2017.

Besides Mammootty, Kannur Squad also stars Rony David Raj, Azees Nedumangad, Shabareesh Varma, Kishore and Vijayaraghavan.

Kannur Squad will debut on Disney+Hotstar on November 17.

Ghost:

Ghost has an intriguing plot. It's hard to tell from the trailer whether the protagonist of this movie, played by Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar, is with or against the law. While he seems to be a mastermind behind a hostage situation that brings the state's police force to a standstill, there seems to be more to what meets the eye.

Written and directed by M. G. Srinivas, Ghost promises to provide a sleek, action drama, filled with more than a few plot twists. Besides Shivanna, the movie also stars Jayaram, Anupam Kher, Prashant Narayanan, Satya Prakash, and Archana Jois.

Ghost is set to premiere on ZEE5 on November 17.
