Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep has spent well over half his life in front of the cameras, and celebrates 28 years in cinema today. Taking to X, a platform that he is quite active on, Sudeep reminisced about facing the camera for the first time along with the late Rebel Star Ambareesh, with whom he shared a very closed bond. In his note, Sudeep said that he feels humbled and that he has love, respect and gratitude to everyone for this “priceless gift”.

In the post, Sudeep added that he’s enjoyed his rollercoaster ride of a career, and acknowledged that he’s not perfect and that he’s done his best with the opportunities presented to him. The actor, who has just wound up his hosting duties of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10, the grand finale of which took place over January 27 and 28, is now back in Mahabalipuram to shoot his next, Max, for which he has at least 25 days of work pending.

Weeks ago, the plot of Max, directed by debutant Vijay Karthikeya, had been uploaded on ticket aggregator sites, following which there was an online debate about whether it was inspired by Ravi Teja’s Telugu hit, Krack. The makers, of course, have not addressed this, but there seems to be a similarity.

As per reports, once he’s done with Max, Sudeep has a film with Satya Jythi Films, following which he will begin work on his directorial King Kiccha, which will be produced by KRG Studios. The actor has at least 2 pending projects with Vikrant Rona director Anup Bhandari – Billa Ranga Baashaa and Ashwathama – and a ‘global’ project with R Chandru, which is speculated to be the film called P.O.K that the filmmaker announced recently.

If Chandru’s five film project actually takes off, he will make Kabzaa 2 as well, in which Sudeep will have a more pivotal role as Bhargav Bakshi. There was a tentative project with Venkat Prabhu too, but according to a recent tweet from Sudeep, that may either be stalled or called off.
